Contracts Managers
who are ready to hit the ground running.
The Role:
As a Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing fire door installation and maintenance contracts from pre-start to final completion. You'll liaise directly with clients, lead site operatives, and ensure work is delivered to the highest standard of safety and compliance.
This is a
hybrid role
, offering a mix of site visits, office-based work, and flexibility to work remotely when appropriate. We are hiring for both
temporary
and
permanent
positions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the delivery of fire door contracts across multiple sites.
Oversee and coordinate site operatives to ensure projects run smoothly, safely, and to specification.
Negotiate contract terms with clients and suppliers, ensuring commercial viability and client satisfaction.
Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, addressing issues as they arise.
Ensure all work complies with third-party accreditation schemes (e.g. BM TRADA, FIRAS).
Liaise with clients, surveyors, and internal teams to maintain high standards and resolve any queries.
Produce reports, maintain accurate documentation, and support audit readiness.
Drive a culture of safety, quality, and accountability across all sites and teams.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience
in contract management within the
fire door or passive fire protection
sector.
Strong knowledge of third-party accreditation schemes (BM TRADA, FIRAS, etc.).
Excellent negotiation and client-facing skills.
Ability to manage and support site teams and subcontractors effectively.
Highly organised, with a focus on quality assurance and compliance.
A flexible and proactive approach to hybrid working - confident on-site, in meetings, and remotely.
Valid CSCS card, SMSTS, or other relevant site-based qualifications (preferred).
Strong IT and reporting skills (Excel, project tracking, CRM tools).
