Join Southern Housing's Retrofit Deliveryteam to lead investment projects that transform our homes for the future as a

Project Manager.




This role owns the end-to-end delivery of retrofit and planned investment projects. From technical surveys and contract management to final handovers, you will ensure every scheme is on time, within budget and meets our strict quality, health & safety and regulatory standards.


You will undertake property surveys, prepare specifications and schedules of work for tender, then monitor budgets, cashflows and on-site progress - managing variations, snagging and health & safety records. You will collect completion data for monthly government reporting, prepare tenant, property and service-charge information for Section 20 notices, and liaise with contractors' Customer Support Representatives, internal Resident Liaison Officers and our Clerk of Works to ensure customer expectations are met throughout.


Additionally, you will advise colleagues on construction and building regulations by reviewing drawings and specifications for new developments, drive continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies, and manage complaints through to resolution.

, with attendance to some of our main offices when required, this role offers hybrid arrangements between office, site visits and work from home as agreed with your line manager.

What you'll need




Relevant retrofit and construction qualifications (PAS 2035, HND/degree, SMSTS, valid CSCS, RICS/CIOB membership) Proven expertise in managing capital and cyclical works contracts, budgets and cashflows In-depth knowledge of housing construction, building regulations and health & safety compliance Strong leadership skills with experience across multi-site teams and delivering resident-focused services Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including report writing and liaison with residents and contractors Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, asset/CRM systems and innovative problem-solving abilities
