Job Description

Role Overview:



As a key member of the Commercial Installation team, you will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, including planning, coordination, resource management, stakeholder communication, and quality assurance. While a technical understanding of surveying is advantageous, your primary focus will be on managing client expectations, coordinating internal and external resources, and ensuring the seamless execution of multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities:



Project Management:



Lead and coordinate all phases of secondary glazing projects from initial client briefing through to handover. Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation. Manage day-to-day communication with clients, architects, contractors, and internal departments. Monitor project performance using KPIs and project milestones; anticipate and resolve potential delays or issues. Conduct risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies. Ensure all work is compliant with health & safety standards and relevant building regulations. Oversee site readiness and ensure installations are delivered to the highest standards of workmanship and client satisfaction. Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, customer service, and internal processes.

Stakeholder & Client Engagement:



Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders. Represent Granada Glazing with professionalism, ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Optional Technical:



Support or coordinate initial details and accurate site surveys to assess feasibility, take measurements, and evaluate installation requirements. Review and interpret survey reports and technical drawings to inform project planning.

Skills & Experience:



Essential:



Demonstrable project management experience within construction, glazing, fenestration, or a related field. Strong organisational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet). Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors. Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:



Understanding of secondary glazing systems and installation constraints. Familiarity with AutoCAD or digital survey tools (Measure Mobile, etc.). Experience with heritage or listed buildings. CSCS card or equivalent site access qualification. HNC/HND or equivalent in construction, project management, or a technical discipline.
This role will be covering projects, potentially UK wide, it will involve travel and potential overnight hotel stays from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 50,000.00 per year
