Job Description

The Role:

We are looking for a skilled and organised Project Manager with experience in metal fabrication to oversee projects ranging in value from 500 to 50,000. The successful candidate will manage jobs from design through to delivery, coordinating closely with clients, designers, and our in-house workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, manage, and deliver multiple fabrication projects Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal staff Review and update technical drawings - basic CAD ability preferred Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard Monitor project performance, budgets, and site safety compliance Work closely with the fabrication team to ensure build accuracy

Requirements:

Proven experience in steel or metal fabrication Project management experience in a workshop or construction-related role Basic proficiency in CAD Strong communication and time management skills Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

Formal training in engineering, metalwork, or construction Familiarity with production scheduling or job costing tools

Note:

This role is based fully on-site at our Stanmore workshop. There is no provision for remote or hybrid working.
