Summary



To support the Senior Operations Manager and Account Director with supervising key engineering company contracts and delivering excellent operational performance and customer services in line with Trans Comms and client expectations.

Responsibilities



Responsible for maintaining and building strong relationships both directly and through the Senior Operations Manager and contract teams.

Deliver a high-quality service on time and within contract budget. Providing first line management and leadership to contracted teams, set team objectives, ensure the quality of engineers work and verify that it has been undertaken in-line with agreed timescales. Develop detailed project schedules and budget reporting. Manage procurement, deliveries and external engineering resource. Recording and monitoring costs against budget, through regular liaising with Senior Operations Manager and finance team. Internal reporting including attending weekly project update meetings at our Head Office (Kent) consisting of the monitoring of project timescales/deadlines, materials, resource, budgets and variations. Participate with the weekly finance meeting to assist with the timely accounting functions (invoicing and applications). Information and risk management - ensuring correct handover documentation is provided by the pre-sales team ahead of project start. Providing 'in-project' documentation, to include record keeping of client variations and project risks. The preparation and collation of project handover documentation, to ensure all customer expectations are upheld. Quality control - supervision of installation and integration teams, utilising benchmarking and sign off to ensure consistent quality of works. Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met. Ensure compliance with H&S regulations, Company policies, standards, and initiatives. Foster strong relationships and maintain good levels of communication between operations team and client. To have a good understanding of who personnel are in the various accounts and follow structured reporting.

Qualifications



Proven experience in project management with a data cabling/infrastructure engineering background preferred.



Excellent time management skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects. Able to communicate well with all levels of staff/contractors and clients. Experience of supervising and improving internal and external customer relationships and conflict handling. SSSTS, ECS Card advantageous and any other H&S training (can be undertaken during employment). Project Management qualifications (advantageous). Proficient in Microsoft packages. Willingness to travel abroad on occasion.
Own transport is required as the office is not located near public transport.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 45,000.00-50,000.00 per year
