About the role
  • We are seeking a keen, motivated and committed individual to manage and support the delivery of council-wide projects and programmes.
  • You will be responsible for developing and driving through medium-term transformation and improvement projects and programmes.
  • You will undertake the planning, and management of individual projects and programmes, monitoring progress to ensure deadlines are met and outcomes achieved.
  • You will actively contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of standards and good practice approaches to project and programme management and business process improvement.

Your skills, knowledge & experience
  • Professional qualification or degree.
  • Experience of successful management of projects.
  • Experience of managing change, improvement and transformation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build effective stakeholder relationships.
  • A proven ability to influence, negotiate and challenge.
