Job Description

Our Project Managers are accountable for the delivery of assigned projects, working closely with the Project Coordinator (PC), Preconstruction team, and Installation team to deliver projects profitably, on time and with high levels of customer satisfaction in accordance with our D4 methodology. This role is responsible to ensure that the commercials (contract, costs and cashflow) are managed successfully throughout the project lifecycle. You are responsible to ensure all internal & external stakeholders to the project are coordinated and engaged successfully.

The role is based at our office in Horndean with regular travel to customer sites around the UK.

Experience/Qualifications:



Proven experience in project management, within the engineering or construction industry Strong knowledge of project management competencies including Schedule Management, Risk and Issue Management, Resource Management, Quality Management Strong commercial knowledge including Budgeting and Cost Control, Change Control & Contract Management Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills IT Proficient, with a good understanding of MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) Proficiency in software including planning tools & project management systems. Experience of CAD and BIM is also an advantage Project management qualifications such as PMP, Quantity Surveying, and H&S qualifications such as SMSTS will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities:



Project Planning - Coordinate with PC to take on new sales orders, manage the handover, develop and maintain the project plan, and ensure clear, ongoing communication with the client throughout the project. Design Governance - Collaborate with Preconstruction to ensure products are correctly signed off for manufacture on time, including coordinating site surveys and participating in design meetings as required. Commercial Management - Oversee procurement of materials and labour to maintain GP, manage project cash flow and invoicing, handle commercial escalations, and ensure extras and variations are correctly charged. Project Monitoring - Monitor project progress in line with agreed processes, address issues proactively, keep revenue forecasts up to date, carry out regular health checks and review meetings, and drive continuous improvement through the LFE feedback loop. Project Delivery - Work with the IM to ensure project delivery stage is completed on programme, to the required quality, and in full compliance with HSQE standards.

Pay: 50,000.00-60,000.00 per year
