Engenda Group are partnering with a global leader in the agricultural chemicals industry who are about to begin their largest ever investment in a manufacturing site. Thanks to this \xc2\xa3150M site wide redevelopment, they are looking to develop their in-house engineering and project management team to accommodate the increased workload. These will be long term, permanent positions, which will be involved in the 5 - 7 year engineering and construction programme followed by further continual improvement and efficiency work in the years to come. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team at the early stages of development and be involved in one of the largest chemical plant investments in the UK. Future progression opportunities are plentiful both in the UK and overseas.

The key responsibilities of the project manager role are:

• Ensure the project scope is followed within the Basis of Design and Statement of Requirements, whilst managing any changes in scope or cost with appropriate protocols.
• Manage internal and external relationships, ensuring the project meets the business needs and milestones.
• Regular reporting of project progress and activities to the capital projects lead and other senior stakeholders.
• Integrate and coordinate across multiple disciplines internally and work closely with external design consultancies, contractors and sub-contractors.
• Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance and efficiency across the different stages of the project.

What we are looking for in you -

• An experienced project manager with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects - ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive experience within regulated industries such as chemicals, nuclear, pharmaceutical, utilities, infrastructure or construction.
• Previous experience of working with multi-discipline teams and being an effective communicator both internally and externally across various levels of authority.
• Degree qualified - within an engineering, project management, construction or relevant technical discipline.
