Project Manager Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in water/wastewater, civil engineering, and earthworks to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full ownership and responsibility for each contract.
Prepare resourced cost plans and programmes prior to project commencement.
Deliver contracts on time, within budget, ensure high quality and to client expectations.
Collaborate and maintain strong working relationships with clients, designers, and consultants.
Guarantee best practices across financial management, Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental, and engineering processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Continuously review and challenge production processes to achieve maximum efficiency and value.
Provide support and guidance to site teams, ensuring adherence to company procedures and processes throughout project delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
Ideally hold a Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), or NVQ 6 or higher.
Valid CSCS card.
Strong understanding and competence in Health and Safety practices.
Full, current UK driving licence.
Experience Required:
We are looking for someone with significant experience managing all aspects of civil engineering projects, including pipelines, drainage, concrete works, piling, earthworks and utilities.
Strong site management experience and the ability to manage budgets and programmes are essential, along with excellent communication skills for liaising and negotiating with client representatives at senior levels.
