Job Description


Due to expansion and contract award this in an incredibly exciting time to be involved within our integrated projects team and we are now looking for a Project Operations Superintendent. This role will be to provide support to the project assigned team from an operational requirement / perspective, including the alignment planning of activities/personnel associated with the project scopes for well abandonments, including but not limited to Archer divisions / Well Engineering / Cementing and fluids contractor / Waste contractor / Conductor contractor. This is an onshore role based at our Blackburn office, Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Operations are planned, equipment / materials available in line with contractual obligations.
  • Good communication is maintained with Archer divisional focal points and sub-contracting company\'s focal points, client representatives
  • Abandonment practices are planned for safe/efficient execution and adhere to operator / Archer / Sub-contractor\'s procedures.
  • Review of requested amendments to rig specific operating procedures as requested by the Rig Manager
  • Support Rig Manger with generating any new operating procedures (with support from offshore personnel / project team) and implementing same within Archer document suite
  • Operator satisfaction assurance with Archer\'s performance from both a P & A planning and operating perspective
  • Ensuring under performance of sub-contractor personnel is highlighted to Operations Manager and Project Director
  • Ensuring Archer\'s contractual interests and obligations are always considered / met.
  • Ensuring Incentive Programmes meet objectives with minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Education
  • Master or bachelor\'s degree or equivalent preferred
  • Relevant Industry experience will be considered in lieu of the above
Experience:
  • Offshore and Onshore management experience
  • Planning support for client / Previous focal point experience for contractors
Personal skills:
  • Good communication skills to ensure safe and reliable operations which meet the client expectations of support.
  • Team player with ability to get team to work efficiently and focused.
  • Good written presentation skills.
  • Organized, structured and ability to see the big picture.
  • Computer literate with basic skills in both Word and Excel
