Key Responsibilities:
Working closely with the tendering, commercial and project management functions and be a strong part of the project delivery team.
Develop and produce contract delivery programmes and associated reports and commentaries
Work closely with the project team to maximise the potential of each project
Attend operation meetings with internal and or external customers and deliver presentation on project progress
Manage the planning and delivery programme process by closely monitoring and controlling the development and implementation of the programme and checking completeness of supply chain packages information
Assess the effects of changes to the contract programme and advice the management if any delay notices/Early warnings are to be raised for extension of time on the project
Requirements:
Previously worked in Planner role
Experience on rail infrastructure project and would be beneficial
Through understanding and experience in the use of Primavera P6 project management software
Extensive experience in programme and project management, project planning, including programme controls, project review, and cost and risk analysis
Ability to plan construction works from first principles, preferably with experience in multi discipline projects
Bid and project planning experience on construction projects
Experience in recognition and recording of any change in requirements
Skilled in oral and written communication
Advanced level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start up work processes

Pay: 26,725.45-66,713.97 per year

Washington NE37 3HT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
