Project & Property Management Placement Intern
Location: Weybridge
We're looking for a proactive, organised, self-starter who's keen to experience Project Management in all its glory. You'll manage office spaces, work with vendors, and maximise value across our sites. You'll also support our Property, Facilities, and Project Management teams in Weybridge and Basingstoke.
Over 12 months, you'll help deliver global, business-critical property projects--gaining hands-on experience in project management, customer engagement, and contract management. You'll also see what it takes to run our estate day-to-day alongside expert consultants and contractors.
This internship/student placement year placement offers real responsibility, exposure to large-scale projects, and a powerful mix of transferable skills to kick-start your career in a global organisation.

The Job
What will you be doing?

• Manage and support the coordination and delivery of property projects across Europe, including construction, refurbishment, and office fit-out projects.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
• Help to monitor project progress, budget control, and risk management.
• Work closely with architects, contractors, and other external partners to ensure project goals are met.
• Assist with project reporting, data analysis, and project documentation.
• Contribute to the preparation of presentations and project updates for senior management.
• Join site visits and participate in meetings with different project collaborators.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Proactivity is critical. We need you to be self-motivated and driven by curiosity.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international working environment.
• A desire to learn about project management and practical delivery of change.
• Strong numerical and logical skills with an ability to make and justify data-driven decisions.
• A courageous and innovative approach to work with a self-learner attitude.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken), additional European languages are advantageous.

Our Recruitment Process
After you have submitted your application, selected candidates will be asked to complete a self-service video interview. After we have carefully reviewed all the video interviews, those who successfully meet our hiring criteria will be invited to an interview with our hiring team. During or prior to the interview, there will be an additional case-study task for applicants to complete. Why? This not only allows us to see what you can do but also enables you to get a taste of what your day-day work will entail. After the interviews have concluded, we'll move to the offer stage, and before you know it, you'll be here at Sony!
Throughout the recruitment process until your start date, you'll have regular connections with our HR & Sony Placement Year programme team, as well as our current interns to answer any questions and provide guidance and further information on your Sony journey. This will also allow you to connect with the other future interns who will form the 2026 Sony cohort and start building your network. We have a staff car park which includes electric charging points, an undercover and secure bike rack , or if you will use public transport, we have a shuttle bus service that regularly runs between train station and the office at peak times.
