The Capital Projects team
manages the University's major construction and refurbishment projects, from cutting-edge research facilities to modern teaching spaces. The Team is delivering the University's Minor Capital Plan - a rolling programme of over 250 live projects across the estate, with an annual budget of 30 million, increasing yearly. Project values typically range from 100k to 15m.

About the Role
You will support a portfolio of divisional projects, ensuring they meet the University's standards for compliance, governance, and delivery. Your role is vital to keeping projects on track and aligned with strategic goals.
Working closely with a Divisional Programme Manager, you will gain hands-on experience managing project delivery while developing your skills in a supportive environment.
You will liaise with external consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with all requirements. You will be joining a forward-thinking team during a period of exciting growth and development opportunities.
About You
We are looking for someone who can: Juggle multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
Communicate confidently and professionally with people at all levels.
Use organisational skills to keep complex projects on track.
Work proactively, both independently and as part of a team.
Confidently use Microsoft Office and quickly learn new systems.
Previous corporate experience is not required.
