Project Support Officer - Gleadless Valley Regeneration

We are looking for a

Project

Support Officer

to join the

Gleadless Valley Regeneration Team

on a

permanent basis

. This role is key to supporting the delivery of the

Gleadless Valley Regeneration Programme

, which sets out an ambitious vision for the area over the next 10+ years.

About the Role





As Project Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in

engaging with the community, managing communications, and supporting various regeneration projects

. Your work will include:


Social media management

- creating engaging content and keeping residents informed.

Writing newsletters and updates

to share progress on regeneration projects.

Attending community events

to connect with residents and the programme

This role will give you

valuable experience in project management, community engagement, and communications

, helping you develop key skills for your career.


What We're Looking For





To succeed in this role, you should have:

Excellent communication skills

- both written and verbal.

?

Experience using digital and social media platforms

to engage different audiences.

Confidence working with communities and stakeholders

in a friendly and professional manner.

Strong IT skills

, including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Resilience and adaptability

, with the ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.


Working Arrangements





The role is

based across Gleadless Valley

, with some work at

Howden House

and opportunities for home working.
