Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic

Project Trainer

to deliver Verbal's unique Shared Reading Model in the Northern Ireland Criminal Justice System . Our Shared Reading Model combines bibliotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy(CBT)techniques to support mental health and emotional wellbeing through storytelling, literature and conversation.

As a Project Trainer your responsibilities include:

Delivering Verbal's Shared Reading Model to participants across Maghaberry Prison & Hydebank Wood College & Women's Prison One hour face to face sessions with participants Consulting with various groups within the Northern Ireland Criminal Justice System Providing a quality, safe and coordinated Shared Reading service
All Creative Guided Collections and Guided Discussions have been created and selected by Verbal's Literature & Psychology team to meet the specific needs of the participants in each setting.

SALARY:

25,875 PRO RATA

CONTRACT

: 18.5 HOURS PER WEEK

FIXED TERM to December 2027

LOCATION:

REMOTE - Minimal need to attend Office

Qualifications

Degree in Psychology or Health and Social Care, Social Work, Health & Development, Health Improvement Proven experience of engaging with people in small or large group settings Proven experience speaking and presenting to diverse audiences including presenting at seminars, workshops and training sessions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire learners
