Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing and Gas technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all plumbing systems function efficiently and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential and commercial settings. Install, service, and repair gas appliances and pipework in accordance with Gas Safe regulations. Assemble and install water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related appliances. Diagnose faults and undertake necessary repairs to plumbing and gas systems. Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing and gas installations to ensure safety and compliance. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing and gas tasks. Ensure strict adherence to local plumbing and gas safety codes and regulations during all work. Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople on project sites. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols. Undertake heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for specific projects.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge and significant experience in plumbing and gas engineering. Must be Gas Safe registered
