About the Role
This role plays a key part in ensuring the seamless delivery of our construction and maintenance services. Prior experience in the
construction or maintenance industry
is essential.
You'll work closely with our established client base, managing enquiries, preparing quotes, and coordinating a variety of jobs--from emergency call-outs to planned maintenance. You'll be responsible for logging and tracking all activity through our CRM system and ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, to a high standard, and with excellent communication throughout.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for client enquiries via phone and email
Log all enquiries and updates in our CRM system (Simpro)
Prepare and issue quotes, and log confirmed orders
Coordinate a variety of works, including:
Emergency call-outs
Plumbing, electrical, and ventilation services
Reactive and planned maintenance (e.g., lighting, painting, flooring)
Communicate clearly with internal teams and subcontractors
Ensure all site operatives have the necessary information and resources
Monitor project progress and ensure client satisfaction from start to finish
Administer and communicate any project changes promptly
Team Support Responsibilities
As a small, effective team, we value adaptability and teamwork. In addition to your core duties, you will:
Support the Buyer
in sourcing competitive pricing from suppliers and ensuring timely delivery of materials
Assist the Office Manager
with health and safety administration, helping to reduce risks and support compliance
Contribute to larger projects
, supporting key tasks as works progress
Identify workflow inefficiencies
, suggest practical solutions to improve systems and processes
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who is hands-on, proactive, and thrives in a dynamic environment. You'll be well-organised, a strong communicator, and confident in managing multiple priorities.
Essential qualities and experience:
Previous experience in a construction or maintenance role (e.g., trade desk, site support, project admin)
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Effective communicator, both written and verbal
Comfortable working independently and within a small, close-knit team
Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Familiarity with Simpro or similar CRM/job management software (highly desirable)
Experience in preparing quotes is a strong advantage
