What you'll be doing;



Assist in managing daily site operations including IBA processing, road sweeping processing and landfill activities Coordinating vehicle maintenance & repair activities and ensure environmental compliance through permit management, leachate control, surface water management, and landfill gas monitoring Maintain accurate environmental data records and implement sampling plans for waste compliance and customer audits Support in the management of Quality, Health & Safety systems including risk assessments, procedures, and contractor documentation Assist in driving safety culture through incident reporting, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives Support project management activities including business planning, project oversight, and operational phasing, support infrastructure, cell construction and restoration projects Assist in financial management, team development, and stakeholder relations with authorities, community groups, and regulatory bodies

What we're looking for;



Essential



Knowledge of waste industry Knowledge of Hazardous Waste Excellent Communication Skills Project Management Degree in an Environmental field This is a development role so flexibility and self motivation and development are critical to the role. Ability to demonstrate technical competence

Desirable



Previous Knowledge of Landfill operations and/or waste management Experience of managing of teams Understanding of P&L and general operational finance practices Understanding of ER & HR processes
