Parallel Resource are collaborating with a leading residential contractor specialising in residential repairs, maintenance & retrofit projects in the South Wales & West region.
They are looking to add experienced personnel to their management team following successful new contract awards, and as such are looking to appoint a Projects & Operations Manager.
The position of Projects & Operations Manager will entail leading a team of managers & supervisors delivering high-quality property improvements and maintenance projects throughout the region and across a varied client base.
The position will oversee major works (such as high-rise recladding), Planned residential upgrade and/or firestopping works and oversee an element of the reactive & void works within a defined client portfolio. There will be an expectation to ensure compliance with company procedures, HSE guidelines whilst providing technical knowhow and leadership advice on all work activities within scope across the project's residential assets.
This leadership position is responsible for ensuring quality, value, and customer satisfaction, as well as overseeing budgets, contracts, and risk management. Experience and knowledge in social and affordable housing upgrades are beneficial. A strong career history, relevant experience, qualifications, and certifications are desirable.
Candidates should have strong commercial acumen, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and proficiency in Microsoft software packages. Additionally, they should have previous experience in contract and site management within the construction, facilities, and maintenance sectors.
