Proof-Reader

The Company

Responsibilities as our Proof-Reader will include:

Checking proof content matches the company database, marking proofs, approving content and where appropriate, rearranging page content and updating the company database. Ensure content follows established Sealey style and tone Liaise with internal stakeholders including the Promotions team, Artwork Studios, Buyers, Product Data and Photography teams to ensure content consistency, accuracy and for any outstanding information required. Update and fill in job control system to enable effective job tracking. Take ownership of own work, seeing jobs/projects through to completion, proactively taking action and using own initiative where required, to ensure timely delivery. Promote positive team culture within the department and with others.

What we're looking for in our Proof-Reader:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and internal stakeholders The ability to work without direct supervision, yet still be a team player To be highly organised, efficient and adaptable to change The ability to prioritise tasks, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines Computer literacy, including experience of in-house computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
