1. Provide an effective maintenance service to the company. Works to include but not exclusively joinery, suspended ceilings, basic plumbing, tiling, flooring, maintaining security bollards.
2. Respond to reactive and planned works as instructed by Maintenance Manager.
3. Purchase materials from approved suppliers at best price for the group.
4. Monitor own and others health and safety whilst undertaking works.
5. Maintain regular communication with other members of team to update on progress.
6. Work with sub-contractors to ensure works are carried out in a cost-effective and timely manner.
7. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
7. Be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
8. Ability to operate powered hand tools safely and accurately in accordance with relevant safety procedures.
9. Basic IT skills to ensure that out on-line maintenance portal is frequently updated.
10. Work from heights by use of a MEWP or mobile tower.
Qualifications -
Practical knowledge of joinery and building maintenance
Ideally formal qualifications in a relevant trade
At least 3 years' experience of carrying out practical tasks in a working environment
Good knowledge of Health & Safety
