Property Compliance Officer

The role:



In this role, you will lead the delivery of property safety servicing programmes, ensuring the safety of our customers and full compliance with landlord statutory obligations. Your contribution will be key in helping us maintain high standards and continuously improve how we keep our properties safe.

While this is a hybrid role, team members are expected to work from the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Although not an exhaustive list, key responsibilities include:

Oversee the delivery of property safety servicing programmes, including gas, fire, water, asbestos, electrical, and other statutory compliance areas. Ensure all safety programmes are proactively managed and meet legal obligations. Support regular inspections of communal areas and assist Property Inspectors as needed. Work with Housing and Customer Services to ensure recharges are processed in line with policies. Identify and report any safeguarding concerns or customer vulnerabilities.

For this role we are looking for individuals who have:

Experience of working in social housing, with an understanding of property safety and compliance. Great customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of people. Ability to prioritise, plan and manage a busy workload, especially in a reactive environment. Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and housing management systems. Resilient when handling conflict, with a calm and solution-focused approach. Can-do attitude, with a willingness to go the extra mile and adapt to change.
