Job Description

Property Inspectors will be part of our Compliance Assurance team, who's function it is to ensure that accommodation providers are meeting the required standards in line with compliance, service regulations and policies & procedures.

You will be involved in liaising and meeting with landlords and accommodation providers daily, maintaining the audit framework for completing inspections and planning any necessary follow up inspections in a timely manner.

You will need to have experience working to deadlines, have an understanding of housing maintenance, experience in the management of repairs and the ability to read and interpret technical reports.

You will need to be organised, disciplined, have an eye for detail, and a proficiency in IT.

Main Duties



Utilising inspection and measurement techniques with reference to company policy and procedures and statutory requirements. Identify areas of non-compliance and provide guidance to the providers to overcome issues identified Raise any safeguarding concerns to senior staff member so further investigations can be completed. Ensuring records are kept up to date, and all status updates are accurately captured on our internal systems Ensuring providers are committed to the implementation of process improvements so that contract and framework agreements are met, in line with set targets Assisting team members and providers with property / document related queries Produce detailed feedback to providers when required while recording all audit outcomes on the required system. Delivery of accurate and meaningful management information to management in line with agreed timescales. Identify and solve operational problems whilst understanding and recognising any broader impact across the operation

Responsibilities



This is a field-based role therefore you are required to hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to a car for business use. Be an active and effective member of the Quality Assurance Team, to assist the Quality Assurance Manager and Team Leaders in the delivery of all aspects of the audit process. Be part of a high performing team and are expected to ensure you work collaboratively, efficiently, continually monitor and meet your targets and provide a quality service To have the aptitude and experience of using technology to input and access information using various IT systems (Excel, Word, databases etc) To work closely with the connected departments to help address any issues and ensure any operational actions are completed within the agreed SLA To manage and respond to internal and external queries relating to property compliance. To work with service providers to ensure all areas of compliance have been met
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
