Working in the Property Services Department as a part of the Housing Officer Team you will be responsible for liaising with tenants, booking and carrying out property inspections, reporting any issues identified, new tenant meet & greats & inductions, & checkouts on behalf of Elliot Leigh Property Management.

Roles and Responsibilities
To comply with all legal and ELPM Regulations with particular attention to all aspects of the Health and Safety Regulations.
Inspect Properties to the required standard and required frequency.
Keep inspection schedule up to date to include all completed Inspections.
Work with your tenants to arrange inspection & inform them of any identified issues and what action is needed
Carry out property inspections alone and with local authority officials, Landlords or any other third parties when required or requested.
Carry out detailed inventories on all new properties.
Take lead in investigating allegations of Anti-Social behaviour.
Follow company policies and procedures on reporting back any issues identified during the inspection.
Carry out meet and great tenant check ins- arranging to meet tenants when they are moving in & delivering detailed inductions.
Carry out tenant moving out checks and obtaining keys etc from tenants leaving.
Property turnarounds- Identify all maintenance work required to bring the property up to a lettable standard.
Completing administration required to deliver the role.
Provide office support where and when required.
What personal qualities, experience & qualifications do I need?
CIH qualifications desirable but not essential.
HHSRS qualification desirable but not essential
Experience in Property Management essential.
Basic knowledge of H&S & compliance.
Must be able to use own initiative.
Needs to be a people person with great interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proven time management skills.
Organisational skills.
Conflict resolution skills
IT literate.
Ability to achieve deadlines.
Enhanced DBS in Adult and Children Workforce
Full clean driving license.
