About the role
We are seeking a proactive and personable
Property Manager
to oversee a portfolio of residential properties. In this role, you will work closely with landlords and tenants to understand their needs and deliver a high standard of service. The ideal candidate will be friendly, knowledgeable and confident in handling tenancy operations and common maintenance issues.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with landlord clients, supporting them in achieving their property investment goals
Portfolio Oversight:
Manage the day-to-day operations of a residential property portfolio, including scheduling routine maintenance and coordinating emergency repairs
Tenant Relations:
Act as the main point of contact for tenants, ensuring a smooth tenancy experience. Maintain up-to-date tenancy documentation, renew tenancies as needed, and manage the end-of-tenancy process
Compliance:
Ensure all properties comply with current legal and safety standards
Property Visits:
Prepare pre-tenancy inventories and end of tenancy reports overseeing the full end of tenancy process, conduct routine inspections during occupancy
Qualifications & Experience
Desirable:
Experience managing rental properties or a strong understanding of the lettings process.
Familiarity with property maintenance and the ability to identify and resolve common defects and coordinate repairs and routine maintenance.
Working knowledge of UK and NI rental property legislation.
Essential:
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Proficient in IT systems and software.
Full, clean UK driving licence (own transport preferred).
