We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing excellent customer service, going above and beyond where necessary, confident & friendly and possess excellent organisational skills.
Full training will be provided, though experience in lettings and/or property management would be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
You would take responsibility for dealing with all aspects of your managed tenancies (post move-in) from maintenance to notices to making end of tenancy preparation and any resulting deposit claims thereafter.
Duties would include:
Providing landlords and tenants advice (contractual, legal and financial).
Dealing with inventories, interims & check-outs
Evaluating and resolving maintenance issues during a tenancy lifetime.
Dealing with landlord and tenant notices.
Coordinating end of tenancy activities.
Dealing with deposit claims and releases.
Taking sales calls from potential landlords.
Taking incoming calls.
Requirements
:
As you will be primarily dealing with clients you will need to have customer service experience. Some lettings experience would be advantageous. In general, we are looking for:
Confident and friendly telephone manner.
High level of proficiency working with a computer; knowledge of keyboard shortcuts and knowledge an ability to use Google Apps and/or Microsoft Office are essential.
An ability to handle contractual or financial queries from tenants and landlords.
An ability to multitask without losing track of your progress.
Be capable of managing your own time and workload whilst working as part of a team, ensuring all daily duties are completed as required.
Experience of dealing with property maintenance enquiries and performing basic fault diagnosis.
Working Hours:
Working hours may vary but are primarily 5 days per week (9-5) with a Saturday on rotation (around 1 in every 6), approximately 37.5 hours per week.
Your role will be office based.
Salary & Benefits:
13.00 per hour. A time sheet needs to be completed monthly, and you are paid on the last working day of each month based on the hours worked.
30 days holiday (depending on hours, including bank holidays).
Death in service insurance.
Optional company pension with 3% company contribution (5% employee).
