Kingsdale Group
manages property on behalf of private residential leaseholders, the majority of whom are retired homeowners. Our aim is that every development we manage is attractively presented, well maintained, and staffed by friendly, helpful, and efficient people. We want each development that we manage to be a source of pride to those who live there.
We offer a management service to developments across the country and currently have a need to fill a vacancy in our retirement property, Milton House in Newton Abbot. The development has an owner's lounge, kitchen, guest suite, laundrette, lift, communal gardens and car parking.
The Role
Kingsdale are seeking to appoint a self-motivated manager who will work as part of a job-share role. You will be responsible for ensuring that the apartment owners receive the highest levels of customer service and that the building and facilities offered are safe, secure, clean and attractively presented. You will adhere to all regulatory health and safety requirements, instruct contractors, and managing the developments budget. You will provide a seamless service with your job-share colleague.
Our Requirements
Experience of property management
Experience delivering excellent customer service
Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of workload using own initiative
Ability to build meaningful, professional relationships
Awareness of health and safety requirements within residential buildings
Ability to remain calm in an ever-changing environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Good IT skills
Team player
Although not essential as training will be provided, a First Aid Certificate and knowledge of management specifically within a retirement living development would be advantageous.
Due to the nature of the organisation and the role, this post is subject to a DBS check

Permanent contract (subject to probation period)
20 days leave per year plus bank holidays pro rata
