Portfolio Manager

on a

full-time, fixed-term contract (18 months)

, with a

view to the role becoming permanent

in the future.

The Role

As Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a residential and student lettings portfolio, ensuring properties are compliant, well-maintained, and that a high standard of service is delivered to landlords and tenants.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a portfolio of residential and student rental properties Acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants Coordinating maintenance, repairs, and contractor works Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance (gas safety, EICRs, EPCs, licences, etc.) Carrying out property inspections and managing follow-up actions Handling tenancy renewals, rent reviews, and general portfolio queries Working closely with the wider lettings and accounts teams

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and confident managing their own portfolio.

You will ideally have:

Experience in residential and/or student property management Good knowledge of current lettings legislation and compliance Strong communication and customer service skills The ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload A professional and solutions-focused approach ARLA qualification (desirable but not essential)

What We Offer

27,000 - 30,000 per annum

, depending on experience

Monday to Friday working hours, 09:00 - 17:00 (37.5 hours per week)
