Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Proposal Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing compliant and commercially attractive proposal responses tailored to client requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, an ability to work under pressure, and a keen eye for detail. You will collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information and create compelling proposals that effectively communicate our offerings.

Duties



Management of RFQ/ITT responses through receipt of enquiry to submission and contract award. Coordination of internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate issuance of proposals. Develop detailed estimation cost models, providing robust estimates for internal approval. Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors to obtain pricing and technical support. Presentation of submissions to Senior Management, highlighting risks and opportunities. Proactively ensure that internal processes are followed at all times. Maintaining CRM system to ensure that sales pipeline remains accurate. Ensure full and timely handover of awarded contracts to the operations/projects teams. The role requires a high degree of flexibility and performance in a wide and developing range of responsibilities. Self-motivation, innovation and pro-activity are all key requirements. The role requires you to work in accordance with defined company HSEQ Management system and be aware of Health & Safety responsibilities to you and others. Report any HSEQ issues or incidents to management team using Aratellus processes.
Critical Competencies

Ability to work with the Commercial Director to define the scope, vision and structure of the Commercial Department. Lead the development and submission of robust and successful proposals that secure new contracts and long-term client relationships for the company. Adhere to and communicate commercial policy and procedures, execute and recommend system improvements ensuring feedback of lessons learnt and the incorporation of appropriate improvements into Company systems to support continued advancement and development. Lead / participate in Customer negotiations in conjunction with and resulting from tender submission. Support and maintain a system of Commercial management tools for the effective control, assessment, monitoring and reporting of the Commercial function.
Person Specification

Educated to degree level in engineering, legal or business Minimum 2 years experience in Commercial role Experience in subsea trenching and/or subsea geotechnical survey would be advantageous Experience of using CRM systems Good communication skills essential Proven experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
