Job Spec:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant General Manager for our new pub in Salisbury. As part of the Dark Revolution family, you will primarily be a customer-facing ambassador for our brewery. Your key responsibilities will be to ensure the smooth running of our pub, taking charge of the staff rotas, organising fun events, and the general ordering of all products. You will be supported throughout the week by our Hospitality General Manager and the team from our taproom when needed.

This position needs to be filled by a confident, friendly individual who is happy to be seen as "the face" of a local, community pub.

The position is offered as a live-in position and includes a two bedroom flat above the venue. Please note that the salary offered will be based on whether the applicant is wanting to live on site or off site.

The pub itself will have 10-14 keg lines and two cask lines, all free of tie. Dark Revolution beer will be the focus of these lines but a couple will be reserved for exciting guest beers from other great breweries. THE OFFER:

A starting salary of 27,000pa dependent on experience. Please note that this does not reflect the salary of a live-in position and there will be a deduction included in the contract for a live-in manager.

A newly decorated 2 bedroom flat above the venue if required.

What we look for in our Management applicants:

A real passion for beer (this is crucial)

Diligent attitude to Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, Licencing, and other areas of compliance.

Taking pride in your place of work - lighting, music, atmosphere, ambience! Knowledge of cellar management, including line-cleaning and cask handling A Personal License is preferable for this position Being a reliable, responsible member of your management team Demonstrate great planning for and management of key events and dates Legal right to work in the UK

Application requirements:

Customer service experience (front-facing) - 3 years

Hospitality experience - 3 years

Management level experience (supervisory/assistant manager) - 1 year
