Job Description
The Dog House is about to reopen its kitchen after a short closure with a small and carefully thought out gastro pub style menu.
We would expect to be delivering sales of between 2.5k and 4k per week once we are back up to speed.
The Kitchen will open daily with a real push to get Sundays really rocking and re establish our reputation as having the best roast in Kennington
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and production, with a keen understanding of food safety standards.
Duties
Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen. Carry out daily and weekly cleaning duties Maintain kitchen records and update them daily Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Proven experience in supervising a kitchen team in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Proficient in food preparation techniques and production methods. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with both kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
