We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and high-quality food production. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster teamwork and collaboration. Manage food inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Develop new menu items and specials that reflect current culinary trends. Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety practices, and equipment usage. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar Chef role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent leadership qualities, fostering a positive work environment. In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
