Duties

Assist the Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and service are maintained. Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and bartenders, to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety regulations. Train new employees on food production techniques, kitchen equipment usage, and customer service protocols. Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly and effectively. Collaborate with the management team to develop menus, plan special events, and implement promotional activities.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the culinary or hospitality sector is essential. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and health regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
