We are excited to be recruiting for a Pub Marketing Executive. This role will work closely with the Pub Marketing Manager to support our leased and tenanted estate to improve their online presence and the results driven from online activities.


Your day-to-day activities will include:




To support the digital marketing needs of our pubs via web and social media. Pub photography and video production, primarily for websites but also for PR and pre and post-investment. Supporting colleagues, agency and customers predominantly with pub-supported websites from creation to site redevelopment. Looking at customer websites and offering support, advice and constructive feedback. Working on site with pub businesses to build and develop their social media and online presence. Conducting social media content shoots Influencing and imparting social media advice, suggestions and recommendations to our pub operators at ground level. Set up of Thwaites Pubs business accounts on relevant channels. Onboarding and support pubs with our website offer and work closely with both them and the website agency. Creating social media graphics which cover key dates for customers to use on their pubs social media channels. Creating and designing relevant creative 'how to' guides and 'top tips' for all things digital. Auditing leased and tenanted pubs digital activities, setting up the process and continually monitoring to highlight areas of excellence.

Who are we looking for someone who is:




Knowledgeable on main social media channels with an in depth knowledge of how channels work and upcoming trends. Experienced in shooting and editing high quality food, drinks and lifestyle photography for use on website, print and social media. Exceptional in influencing skills of colleagues and customers with great communication and team working Engaging with a bright and positive approach Able to project plan and work to strict deadlines Able to manage own workload and diary for maximum efficiency Knowledgeable on and able to demonstrate copywriting skills (for print, web and social media)

Expieriece required:




Experience of working with customers. Good level of IT skills: web/email/ Microsoft office package (Excel/Word/Power point) Experience of working with Canva and Adobe software Strong knowledge of how to run social media channels and trends

As the role will require regular travel, you must hold a current UK driving licence.
