Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Public Area Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of our public spaces. This role involves ensuring that all areas are welcoming, hygienic, and well-presented for our guests. The successful candidate will play a vital part in delivering excellent customer service and creating a positive environment for visitors. Prior experience in hospitality or cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate mobility around the premises.

Responsibilities

Regularly clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and communal spaces Helping with deep cleans of all areas of the property Ensuring offices and other areas are kept to the agreed standards Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and free from dirt, dust, and debris Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials as needed Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly Greet guests politely and offer assistance when required Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout shifts Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for all visitors and staff

Experience

Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is desirable but not mandatory Basic communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with guests and team members Driving experience with a valid licence is advantageous for operational flexibility Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are important for maintaining cleanliness standards Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and guests
