About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Regional Marketing EMEA, the PR & Partnerships Manager role sits within our Treasury Premium Brands (TPB) division and is responsible for leading the TPB PR and Partnerships strategy, messaging and toolkit for relevant EMEA brands along with strategy development, and execution of regional PR plans.

  • Proactive about timely campaign strategy and reporting ROI for brand PR within the region (and globally where relevant)
  • Responsible for media/stakeholder relationships within EMEA for relevant brand portfolio, across the following channels:
  • Wine, food and travel media
  • Lifestyle/Speciality media (i.e sport/lifestyle)
  • Online editors and influencers across social media platforms
  • Senior Business Writers (led by corporate communications team)
  • General news
  • Trade and industry media
  • Contribution to brand owned channels (i.e social media, website, DTC comms)
  • Lead and leverage paid media partnerships
  • Identify \'new\', non-traditional media channels
  • Responsible for preparation of written Brand material (i.e media releases, biographies, fact sheets, key messages).
  • Manage regional brand reputation promotion and protection
  • Communications risk assessment across various business project teams - identifying areas of risk and likely media scenarios and making recommendation on course of action
  • Media spokesperson providing comment on brand and business related issues and initiatives
  • Lead, communications and media strategy development, key message development and, where relevant, media training senior management/executives
  • Lead issues management comms process for relevant brand portfolio - (prepare documents & engage appropriate colleagues).
  • Responsible for complying with company policies, procedures and governance including Corporate Social Responsibilities, Risk Management and Health & Safety.
  • Self aware/benchmarking- Interested and aware of best in class activation of like-minded brands in EMEA.
About you:
  • Bachelor Degree in journalism or Public Relations a benefit but not essential if on the job experience is evident.
  • PR consultancy / agency experience is highly desirable. This role requires a focused results driven, resilient, tenacious public relations professional with a proven track record of delivering PR outcomes. Intelligent and a go getter. A team player, but also someone who can \'get the job done\'. Important this individual does not get distracted or lose focus by \'noise\' or corporate politics.
