Position Overview:
Our head office is located in Welwyn Garden City, but we cover jobs throughout London and the south of England. Applicants are not expected to be London-based, and we actively encourage applications from candidates located across the southern region. Travel will be an integral part of the role so a willingness to do so is essential.
Hourly Rate - 30 per booked hour on site (Monday to Friday). 35 per booked hour on weekends and bank holidays.
Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday
Shift times - 9 hours booked time on site. Timings vary around work activity
Role:
We are looking for a pump specialist who also has drainage knowledge and experience. We will not pursue applications from drainage engineers who only have basic knowledge on pumps.
Applicants will only be considered if they can prove their comprehensive understanding and competency across various drainage and water pumping systems. This would need to include fault finding, electrical testing and complete installation capabilities.
Work will range from system breakdowns, servicing and complete installations on commercial pumping systems. Alongside specific pump work applicants will need to be willing to undertake general drainage work that coincides with the pump systems we service. To reiterate, this role is not solely focused on pumps.
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth analysis of drainage issues to provide effective solutions and recommendations.
Perform planned maintenance, reactive and project work- related to commercial kitchens and the hospitality industry.
Ensure timely and high-quality service delivery to minimise downtime for our valued clients.
Ensure job administration is completed to a high standard. This is done on the mobile app where job reports and pictures are uploaded. Our customers love our reporting standards so the ability to do this is essential.
Required Knowledge:
We need engineers with experience and expertise in some or all of the following areas:
Detailed knowledge and understanding of commercial pumping systems. Fault finding, testing, repair and new installation competency will be a minimum requirement.
Drainage system tracing
Blockage clearance
CCTV investigations/surveys
Tanker Support
HPWJ
Qualifications:
Commercial drainage experience (3 years)
A strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering lasting solutions.
Flexibility to work long shifts as needed to support our clients and maximise earnings.
Driving License
