An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Accounts Team based in Blythe Valley Business Park, Solihull . The Team provides the Finance Function for our two Porsche Centres. The Group has made huge investments in these sites representing a prestigious brand and is now looking for an additional team member to support their successful trading.
An eye to detail and the ability to produce accurate financial information in a timely manner is a must, with careful adherence to process and application of the accounting system. Good organisational skills, proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, enthusiasm and the ability to work in a fast paced environment is required.
Responsibilities include:
Support the Porsche Divisional Accountant with Business Activities
Receive, review and process invoices accurately and efficiently into the accounting system
Match purchase orders with invoices to ensure accuracy and validity of transactions
Communicate effectively with merchants regarding invoice discrepancies, payment enquiries and other related matters
Supplier statement reconciliations
Prepare and process payments to vendors
Assist in analysing purchase data and expenses to identify trends, discrepancies and areas for cost savings.
Provide back up information to the Accountant and other Management Personnel as required.
Ensure compliance with Company Policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards and regulations
Collaborate effectively with Accounts Team Members and Operational Departments
