Job Description

Our client is an export distributor and wholesaler of British food and drink brands to international markets. They have developed an extensive product portfolio, ranging from iconic British names to emerging brands. In addition, they have launched several exciting house brands, offering unique propositions to international business customers.

This is a key position within the operations team, providing exposure to and involvement with other areas of the business. While the team is small, they deliver significant results and foster a supportive company culture where colleagues help one another across all functions.

This role would suit someone with strong attention to detail, who takes pride in their work, is keen to take on additional responsibility, and is eager to make a meaningful contribution to the company. In return, the company offers a competitive salary, flexible working hours, and 24 days' annual leave. Training will be provided. The role is ideally full-time, though part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage the end-to-end order process, including the preparation of all required export documentation

Work closely with suppliers to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement

Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure stock is received and dispatched accurately and in accordance with customer requirements

Maintain and update the ERP system to ensure accurate, real-time visibility of order status for both customers and the sales team

Coordinate with logistics providers and transport companies to arrange prompt collections and deliveries

Provide support across wider business operations, undertaking additional tasks and responsibilities as required

The ideal candidate will have:



Experience working with business suppliers

Previous experience in an order processing or logistics role (preferred but not essential)

Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively

Exceptional attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Confidence in working within a small, collaborative team environment

A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced business setting

Experience in Microsoft Excel

Experience with ERP systems (preferred but not essential)
