Job Description

CILS International is a UK manufacturer of durable labelling solutions supplied to laboratories and industrial sectors. We focus on quality, technical support and fast service. We are now recruiting a Purchaser and SOP Administrator to support our operations and ensure the continuity of supply to our manufacturing team.

Role overview


You will manage the procurement of goods, materials and services needed for CILS to operate efficiently. The role also provides administrative support across the SOP teams to keep our processes accurate and well coordinated.

Hours of work - Mon-Fri 08:30am - 5:00pm (with a 4:00pm finish on Fridays)

Role and responsibilities



Source and purchase goods, materials and services in line with operational needs

Maintain supplier relationships and resolve pricing, quality, delivery or invoicing issues

Monitor supplier pricing and performance and report changes

Track inventory levels with manufacturing and premises supervisors

Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, invoices and payments

Process supplier invoices in Sage 200, reconcile them with delivery notes and purchase orders and ensure all payments are accurate and completed on time.

Support pre and post manufacturing SOP activities

Assist with receivables and banking when required

Skills and experience



Strong administration skills with confident written and verbal communication

Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail

Able to manage several tasks at the same time

Practical problem-solving skills

Experience in purchasing or supply chain administration is desirable

Experience with Sage 200 would be an advantage
