Job Description

Established in 1993, Dawn Direct is a recognised national distributor of Non-food products to the hotel, leisure, catering and food processing sectors.

We have an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work as a Purchasing Administrator/Buyer.

Key tasks will include but not limited to:



Comparing the prices from different suppliers; Negotiating the best prices / deals with suppliers; Analysing competitors selling prices; Sourcing new products, ordering samples, quality check; Speaking to Sales Reps; Updating cost prices; Controlling customer's special prices; Placing orders with suppliers; Monitoring stock levels; Establishing best re-ordering levels to ensure continuous supply of the key products; Ensuring the quality of products is continuously on the same, high level.

The position is ideal for a motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years experience ( must be recent) carrying out the duties above.



The salary for this position will depend on your experience (DOE)

Applicants should live within easy commuting distance of Airdrie Scotland ML6 9SE

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 24,000.00-30,000.00 per year
