Our well organised 9-acre site incorporates an extensive steel stock with various value-adding processing facilities within our 95,000sq. ft of warehousing. We excel in customer service, delivering daily across the region and nationally using our own fleet of modern HGV's.

We are looking for an additional member to join Tomrods Purchasing Team to assist in the continued growth and success of the business. Your responsibilities would include:

Negotiating with suppliers Sending out enquiries Raising purchase orders Communicating with suppliers, hauliers Working closely with other departments Booking in loads Monitoring supplier performance Receipting loads onto the system Buying consumables Uploading test certification documents

Previous experience is not essential. Full purchasing and product training will be provided to the successful candidate.

25 days holidays plus Bank Holidays



Hours - 7.5-hour Day shift, 8.30am to 5.00pm (with one hour for lunch), Monday - Friday. No weekend working.

Pay: 24,000-27,000 depend on experience



Thirsk, YO7 3BT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
