Overview


We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to support Purchasing, Stock Control, Logistics, Fleet and General Operations within our busy technical environment..

Responsibilities



Purchasing & Procurement



Raise accurate purchase orders and maintain full traceability. Source best prices, negotiate where possible and secure value for money. Monitor lead times, manage bulk orders and review supplier performance. Maintain purchasing records, warranties, service schedules and shipment logs.

Stock Management



Maintain stock levels of consumables, spares and equipment. Manage stock rotation, replenishment, routine checks and vehicle stock audits. Keep databases updated and ensure efficient supply to engineers and site teams. Continuously improve stockroom organisation and inventory processes.

Deliveries, Dispatch & Logistics



Pick, pack and dispatch daily orders; arrange courier bookings and collections. Manage goods-out, including services, returns and warranty items.

Returns & Warranty



Process supplier returns and maintain a full returns database. Manage warranty cycles, dispose of damaged equipment and produce trend reports. File all returns and parts invoices for monthly Accounts.

Fleet Coordination



Manage day-to-day fleet operations: MOTs, servicing, repairs and availability. Maintain fleet records and coordinate vehicle allocation and compliance. Liaise with suppliers for maintenance and replacements.

Health & Safety, Compliance & Facilities



Carry out weekly fire alarm checks and support site inspections. Manage waste collections, including WEEE disposal.

Qualifications & Experience



Essential



Experience in purchasing, stock control, supply chain or logistics. Strong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail. Confident communicator with suppliers, couriers and internal teams. Proficient with order processing systems (SAP desirable). Able to multitask, prioritise and solve problems in a busy environment.

Desirable



Fleet administration experience. Knowledge of NSI or similar compliance frameworks. Experience in engineering, technical or security-based environments.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00-33,000.00 per year
