Purchasing Assistant

As a Purchasing Assistant at Chards Coin & Bullion Dealer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our inventory aligns with sales strategies and market demands. This position involves managing the purchasing process, conducting price comparisons, and overseeing stock inventory to ensure product availability.

Skills and Qualifications:

Purchasing Experience:

Minimum of 2 years experience in purchasing, inventory management or a related field preferred.

Industry Experience:

Minimum of 1 year experience in precious metal / bullion industry preferred.

Analytical Skills:

Strong ability to analyse data and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.

Attention to Detail:

High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing inventory and purchasing records.

Communication:

Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.

Technical Proficiency:

Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to purchasing and inventory management.
