As
Purchasing Executive
you will support the procurement function by sourcing competitive quotes and managing purchase orders, with a strong focus on achieving cost savings and improving purchasing efficiency.
Core responsibilities are:
Responsible for project purchasing with key suppliers (timber, powder coating etc)
Focussed on getting the best prices with key suppliers for projects
Managing those suppliers to ensure they are delivering OTIF on a daily/weekly basis
Assisting the Operations team with managing supplier quality and relationships
Working with the Projects team to update them on the status of all live project purchases
Ensure the project management system and stock system is kept updated
Working with the project management team to orchestrate all project logistics
Organising/assisting all transport purchases and deliveries for projects
Keeping the supplier forecast up to date and discussing as a team about any possible changes to the priority
Answering incoming calls quickly
Assisting the Operations team in updating the approved suppliers list
You will have the following skills/attributes:
Previous experience in logistics and purchasing from suppliers is essential for this role
Friendly disposition, personable and enjoys working in a team environment
Excellent and Positive communication skills needed
Ability to perform without supervision; must be able to be trusted
High level of adaptability and willingness to perform given tasks
Attention to detail must be good

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 1:30pm.
