Purchasing Manager
Location: Bracknell, Berkshire
Salary: \xc2\xa350-55,000 + benefits
To support our Client\'s growth, we are recruiting for a Purchasing Manager to support their current business and imminent growth strategy. Managing a small team, you will be a natural coach with the ability to develop your team to their full potential, whilst being able to deliver the key objectives of the role in purchasing and planning.
The role:
- Manage a team to effectively deliver all purchasing requirements, budgets and agreed strategies.
- Manage the stores and logistics at NRM sites.
- Support the NRM sites and manage all stock replenishment requirements.
- Regularly communicate with key stakeholders to ensure all purchasing needs are met.
- Oversee and monitor purchase order placement, receipting of goods and achieving delivery targets.
- Build and maintain supplier relationships for goods and services.
- Identify cost saving opportunities across goods and services.
- Provide training and support to your team.
- Agree objectives with team members to maximise engagement and development of individuals.
- Ideally CIPS qualified, or working towards
- Sound knowledge of the purchasing process cycle.
- IT literate, with particular emphasis on Excel analysis skills.
- Strong initiative and business mindset.
- Strong negotiations and communication skills.
- Good attention to detail
- Experience of working in a purchasing management role
- Experience of managing a small team
