Licata Building Systems are a UK manufacturer of Render & External wall insulation and waterproofing systems. Also a leading distributor of fibre cement boards, resin products, porcelain tiles, wood flooring, adhesives, grouts, silicone, sealants and interior decorative finishes.

Due to our continued success and expansion we are now opening our 6th distribution warehouse. Licata are looking to bring in an Purchasing Manager.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

Extensive experience in construction products industry and have previously held a similar position in a builder's merchant or a related business. Strong commercial awareness of the current market Background in management Dedication to providing great customer service Adaptable and self-motivated Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and service needs A working knowledge of Sharp-AX or equivalent software system

As a Purchasing Manager / Head Buyer, you will play a pivotal role within the business to manage the procurement, stock levels and suppliers in the most cost-effective way possible.

- Target quality products and the trends within the industry

- Manage stock and inventory levels

- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers

- Liaise closely with the others in the senior management team.
