Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our solar operations team. In this hands-on role, you'll be out in the field keeping our solar PV systems performing at their best -- safe, reliable, and efficient.

What you'll do

Carry out routine maintenance, testing, and repairs on solar PV systems Deliver preventative and corrective maintenance in line with the annual plan (and as issues arise) Diagnose and resolve faults across AC and DC systems Log daily site activities through our online reporting system Complete risk assessments and report near misses Supervise and coordinate third-party contractors, ensuring H&S compliance Maintain accurate testing and maintenance records for audits Stay up to date with fire, health, and safety requirements Be prepared for occasional nights away and weekend rota work (with extra pay)
What you'll bring

Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ in Electrical Installations C&G 2382-18 and 2391-52 (or equivalent) HV AP qualification 3+ years' experience in Solar PV O&M (ground mount) Solid knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, HV systems, and industry-standard testing equipment Familiarity with CCTV and SCADA systems First Aid and Fire Marshal training (or willingness to train) Harness and IOSH qualifications (desirable - training can be provided)
