QA Lead - Precast Concrete

We are seeking an experienced

QA Lead

to join a leading precast concrete manufacturer in the Midlands. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of quality processes, drive best practice, and ensure compliance across a busy production environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead the QA function within the precast concrete division, ensuring all products meet required standards and specifications Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures and documentation Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of precast elements to maintain compliance with industry regulations and client requirements Work closely with production, design, and site teams to identify issues and implement corrective actions Train and mentor staff in quality processes and continuous improvement initiatives Liaise with external auditors, clients, and regulatory bodies as required
Requirements:

Proven experience in a

QA / QC role within precast concrete, construction, or civil engineering

Strong knowledge of precast production processes, materials, and relevant standards Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across teams Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset Relevant qualifications in quality management or construction (advantageous)
