The day-to-day
As a QA Manager at Reward, you will oversee the entire quality assurance process, including test engineering, within a fast-paced, agile environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by developing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies. This role involves managing a team of test engineers and QA Analysts as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.###
The Role
The QA Manager is responsible for developing and implementing our testing strategy across our delivery and engineering teams, ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and platforms. This role involves leading a team of test engineers to develop a comprehensive automated testing solution to support CICD. You will also manage a team of QA Analysts providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure high performance and growth and collaborating with other departments to deliver high-quality software solutions.Quality Assurance Leadership: Define and lead the overall test strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and software development practices. Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
Test Engineering Management: Lead the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Design and manage scalable test environments. Ensure that testing is integrated into the development process.
Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure that testing is aligned with project goals.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing team.
Issue Management: Manage and prioritize testing issues and defects, working with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on testing progress, issues, and outcomes to the engineering leadership team.
Team Development: Mentor and develop the QA team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth

The Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing QA Analysts and demonstrable experience in Test Engineering.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks. Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestMo).
Quality Assurance Expertise: In-depth understanding of quality assurance principles, quality control procedures, and testing methodologies.
Agile Practices: Experience working in an Agile development environment, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.
